Felix and Ysabella mowing hay

Experience the enchantment of this beautiful, remote valley while joining us in our Ranching Experience. We are a small, boutique ranch, raising Beef and Friesian Horses.
This small, 160 acre ranch is run by just me, Inga Thompson, and my son, Tyler Newberry. We don't have any hired hands. Just the two of us. We practice sustainable agriculture on this small ranch.
Our Ranch has been exclusively in our family since 1918, making my son the 4th generation. We border the Wallowa National Forest with 3 streams running through the property and many natural springs.
The cattle never leave the lush pastures of grass and clover. The hay we feed our cows is put up from our Ranch. Most of the farming is done with horses. We are 100% Natural, using NO pesticides, fertilizers, hormones or antibiotics. Our irrigation water comes from the Wallowa Mountains pictured in the photo above and to the left.
We are proud to announce that we received our Animal Welfare Approved status!
Animal Welfare Approved is the standard set for the ethical raising of our cows. Please look at their website: www.animalwelfareapproved.org
